Today's Quad-City Times (Davenport, IA) ran a wonderful story on the upcoming concert of the Wind Ensemble, complete with photos (and the web version features a horrible pic of me--certainly couldn't have caught me in a worse pose. BUT THEN I was accused of "scolding" the ensemble. Scold I don't--insist, demand, cajole I do. Ah, the sacrifices we make for our art.
Still, I am expecting an excellent performance....
